This year, I was incredibly fortunate to be one of fourteen composer/performers from around the world to be offered a fellowship to attend the Art Omi International Musicians Residency. I attended as a composer, improviser and performer on drums, guitar and voice. It was an amazingly enriching experience to work with such high level musicians in such a beautiful setting. I would also like to gratefully acknowledge the assistance of the Canada Council for the Arts, from whom I received a travel grant to attend the residency.
